Obituary of Mary Paradis

Paradis, Mary Morgan: 78, Halifax. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Mary Morgan Paradis, my Grams, on August 18, 2016. Originally from Liverpool, England, she travelled to Quebec at the age of 18, where she met the love of her life, the late Fernand Paradis. The time she spent in the Laurentian Mountains raising her family was the best time of her life and she spoke of those days often. She was a "tell-it-as-it-is" sweet, sweet soul, a nature fanatic, a fantastic cook, and a truly loving Grams. She leaves behind many she loved, especially a granddaughter, Shana, and her little sidekick, Gabby. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where visitation will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 6-8 PM. There will be no funeral service or burial.
