Obituary of Donald McMahon

McMahon, Donald A.: 59, Spryfield, NS. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, grandfather, uncle, great-uncle and a good friend to so many. Donnie was the son of the late Johnston and Elsie (Buchanan) McMahon. Donnie’s long career as a Journeyman Carpenter brought him from NS to Alberta more than once. He retired home where his heart was, and continued to surround himself with family he loved. Donnie made friends so easily with his contagious laugh and a billion one-liners. His heart made him so easy to be around and he always reached to anyone in need. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Jesse (fiancee Judy) and Tyler (fiancee Lauren), his granddaughter, Riley McMahon and his grandson, soon to be named Jaxson McMahon, who will honorably carry his name, his sisters, Jackie, Bette, Cathy, Pattie, Denise, his brother Danny, as well as the mother of his "boys", Sherrie Beaver.
