Obituary of George A. Davis

DAVIS, George Augustus - 61 of Halifax passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born on July 4, 1955 he was a son of the late George and Alice Davis (Prudhomme). He is survived by his children, Alicia, Timothy and Kelly-Ann; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Carol and Rosemarie; brothers, Frank and Kenny; many nieces and nephews; special friend and cousin, Billy Turpin. He was predeceased by grandson, Lashawn. A special thank you to the nurses and staff of 5.2 ICU at the Halifax Infirmary. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, where visitation will be held on Friday, June 23 from 1-3 PM. In keeping with the family’s wishes there will be no service. Interment will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Donations in memory of George can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
