Obituary of Rosemarie F. MacKay

51, Harrietsfield, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2017 at the VG Site, QEII, with family by her side. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Mary LaPierre and the late Eugene LaPierre. Rose enjoyed spending the days gardening and sunny days at the beach. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by sons, Tim (Jenna Gorko) and Jesse Langille; grandchildren, Raina-lea and Roman Langille; brother, Raymond McNeil (Lisa); half sister, Tamatha Mitchell; fiancé, Dan Harper; nieces, Kendra and Carly McNeil; special cousin, Shawn Wiginton; best friend, Heather MacGillvary. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where a Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, August 8 at 1 PM from the funeral home chapel; reception to follow. Donations in Rose’s memory may be made to the Liver Cancer Foundation.
