Obituary of John William Flemming

Age 64, Halifax, passed away Saturday September 9, 2017, at home. Born in Halifax, he is a son of Mary (Rhynold), Halifax and the late Earle Flemming. John was such a selfless sweet soul who would do anything for anybody. He worked hard all of his life until he got sick in 2011 and since then had be dedicated to his family, spending as much time as he could with them! He took on myself and my brother as his own! And one thing he has taught me is how to love something that is not your own, he will be missed deeply. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Marcotte; children, Jonathan (Debbie) and Candace (Troy) Rafuse; brothers, James (Barbara), Edward (Janet) and Michael; sister, Elizabeth Cann, all of Halifax; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Douglas. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held Friday September 15, from 1-3p.m. at the Golden Age Centre 212 Herring Cove Rd.
