Talked to Alex on the phone not all that long ago and he told me he was not at all well. Sorry to hear of his passing. The last time I saw him in person was when he came down for my late husband's A. A. anniversary. Alex and I were close in age and he always treated me with respect and told me how good I was to my late husband Dick, his older brother.

Alex will be missed. Loved visiting Alex with Wendell he shared so many memories of my father Jack Swansburg . We talked about his father and my grandfather many times .
