I remember John from a time when he lived in Windsor NS 50 years ago. He was such a fascinating person and had a very nice accent to boot! He was passionate back then about gardening and seemed to know everything about plants and soils. He seemed to be a friend to everyone and everyone loved John. I moved to Halifax to train to become an X-ray technologist. My husband and I visited back and forth for awhile as he moved to Halifax too. We then lost contact. As someone else mentioned he will be remembered with fondness. He was that kind of person. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May he rest in peace. Brenda Stoddard Radzijewski

Dear Diane, Doug and I send our sincere condolences. I thoroughly enjoyed our brief visits together. John was a wealth of botanical knowledge which he gladly shared with me with such ethusiasm. It was a treat to listen to him as he commented on my gardens and Jerry and I loved seeng you both at the Hubbards market. I do cherish time spent with him and I share in your sadness, over the loss of your husband, a small man of great stature. I ill never forget him.
