My deepest condolences for the loss of your father and grandfather. I have many great memories of Max and Cathy growing up, and remember them both as kind individuals with a witty sense of humour who were always most welcoming in their home as well as ours. My mom and dad (Judy and Maurice) treasured their friendship and would be very sad to hear of Max’s passing. Mom’s memory is not very good these days but I will let her know the sad news. Sending loving thoughts your way.
So sorry to hear of the passing of your father Cathy & Chris .Max was one of a kind and boy did he love telling us jokes and laughing .Going to miss him at our family gatherings and will for sure miss his delicious rolls ,apple pie and his famous commodore squares ( which were my Dad Daniel’s favourite in fact he always tried to hide them from us but your dad would always tells us where they were hidden) .Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers

Deepest regrets on Max's passing, I remember the hockey games we played on Long Pond where Max played with a short 4-foot stick and wizzed around like a pro.
My condolences to Chris and Catherine, sorry for Loss. It was a pleasure to work with Max at CBC in the early 70s as he was always such an upbeat person.
Max was truly a wonderful person. He had such kindness, generosity and an world class sense of humour. Every visit to his home felt so welcoming and warm. My heartfelt condolences to Chris, Catherine, Amanda, and Kate. Please know that you are in my thoughts during this difficult time.
