I'm not sure where to begin. Our friendship spanned 6 decades, so there are memories. So very many. Playing Barbies for HOURS.
Learning to skip double dutch. How angry you got when Scott and Shawn built a " boys only" club House in their yard . and I won't mention how you got your revenge !
You getting hit by a car in front of the house. The terror of not knowing if you were ok. The relief of finding out you had a broken leg and would be just fine :) Rosemary Cook sending you the most beautiful pink peonies out of her garden when you came home from the hospital, and how jealous I was of those flowers ! I grow my own now, and all I see is you when they bloom. Going Christmas caroling with our blended families .Double features at the Oxford theater. Swimming at Centennial pool. Hanging out at the Larry O field. Trick or treating together. Too many memories to mention. But I think my favorite one will always be creeping up the back stairs in my jammies on Saturday morning, with my bowl of cereal ,to watch cartoons with you and Rickey. You had cable AND color TV ! The 3 of us snuggled up on the couch, glued to the tube . The memories will never fade. You left us too soon , Sister. I will miss you always .
Love you forever, Sandi
