Obituary of Andrea Maria Leimbach

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Andrea Maria Leimbach at the age of 54 due to cancer. Andrea was the daughter of Marlene and the late Horst Leimbach.

She is survived by her partner, best friend and love of her life, Barry Hartlen. Andrea was a graduate of Halifax West High School, followed high school at NBCC, completing her accounting and business degree. Andrea worked at Air Liquide Canada for 22 years as a Cylinder Asset Control Agent AKA “The Cylinder Queen” and loved her job dearly. Andrea was an avid sports fan and loved the beach.

Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a service will be held by invitation only. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The family is wishing to express their thanks and gratitude for all the expressions of sympathy, cards, food and phone calls recived durind this difficult time.
