We saw each other only once a year and thought we'll see each other again soon, but unfortunately you left earlier. You will always be my soul mamita and I will always remember you, you will remain eternally in my heart. My sincere condolences Joe (papito), she will always be with you until God brings you back together again. I love you mamita, rest in peace.

I cannot believe Cheryl has been taken from us, My heart is broken for Joe and his family. Cheryl was a wonderful person with such a kind heart she would make cupcakes for my grandchildren who thought she was the best . I consider Cheryl my friend as well as a great neighbour I will miss her so much along with my family Dara/Shawn/Abby/Khloe and Gavin

I first met Cheryl when I started my insurance career at Guardian Insurance in 1977. Cheryl was an early mentor and so much fun to work with in the Filing Department. Showed me that you can work hard, do a very good job and most of all have fun doing it. Met her husband Joe through many of the social activities we had and marvelled at how well suited they were to each other. I left Halifax to work in Calgary in 1989 and lost touch with Cheryl but never forgot what a great down to earth person she was. Certainly gone far too soon.

Cheryl will always hold a special place in my heart. She was a wonderful sister-in-law & friend. Even after Don & I divorced, she always made me feel like I was still part of the family. She was so kind & loving. Walter & I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Joe (the love of her life), Susan, Kevin, and all the family & friends who loved her.

Cheryl was my cousin, next door friend, musical mentor, protector, source of all things hand me down. No sister could have filled her tiny shoes by birth. As a young girl I looked up to her. I still look up to her even when I had to look down to see her. I was and am today proud to have shared a family with her. Two of the most important women in my life have moved on since October. I am relieved both no longer suffer in ailing bodies. As for the rest of us…….Thank you Cuz. For everything.

Aunt Cheryl will be missed by us all. I have so many memories of visiting Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Joe and all of their cats over the years. Memories of "the camp" in Liscombe and Christmas Eve's at Nan's. Cheryl was so lucky to have been so loved by one of the best in Uncle Joe and I know she is reunited with the rest of our loved ones we have lost along the way. Gone to soon.
Love you Auntie
