I am saddened to hear of the passing of my colleague and friend Annie. During our time together at the College, Annie kept me focused on the task at hand and worked very hard to support me. She was the best. We shared our love of kayaking and we talked of paddling together but sadly never got to do it. Life is too short and Annie left us too soon

To Kevin, Emily and Annie's family. It was heartbreaking to hear of Annie's passing. I worked with Annie at the College. Her warm welcome on my first day made me feel right at home and I went on to enjoy working closely with her for several years. Annie was steady and unflappable and a fountain of wisdom and knowledge. Once we had dispensed with work, we enjoyed many chats about our families and our lives. Your beautiful tribute to her reminded me of all the ground we covered over the years. Kevin, Emily and family,
I too had the great pleasure of working with Annie at Nova Scotia Health for a very long time. She definitely kept the finance dept running smoothly. She was always smiling and loved her job. She was always telling us stories about Emily and loved her dearly. She used to love the trips to Port Mouton with me and going for walks on the beach. She will be greatly missed by all her friends at the hospital. Thinking of you all at this most difficult time but keep the memories close to your heart as Annie would want that. Heaven just gained a beautiful person.

My sincere condolences to Kevin, Emily and other family members. Annie and I worked together at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of NS. Annie was awesome to work with. I enjoyed our chats first thing in the morning before we started our work for the day. I was glad when Annie retired early and was able to spend quality time with Kevin, Emily and the fur babies doing the things she loved to do.

I had the privilege of working with Annie for many years at the VG hospital finance department. A wonderful person, infinitely helpful, always pleasant and just someone you enjoyed talking to. I am so very sorry to hear this. I worked with Annie when she was with the Finance Department of Capital Health. She was always wise and helpfully cheerful. We shared stories about our daughters emerging from high school and I felt close to Annie. She didn't judge.

I can't believe Annie's gone. We've been friends since 1965 and had just recently reconnected through FB. I enjoyed living life vicariously through Annie's photos - kayaking, hiking, preserving, reading - and I was so envious of her retirement. Deepest condolences to Kevin and Emily at this time. Annie was a force of nature and one of the greatest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and calling a friend. When I started at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, she quickly took me under her wing and became a friend, a confidant and always a source of a great laugh. From bonding over our love of British television; discussing recipes; talking about our love for our families as well as our hopes and dreams - I will forever cherish those moments and our time spent together. And the laughs, the laughs we had. Even after I left the College and Annie retired, we would still meet up for Thai food and talk for hours and it was like time hadn't even passed which is a true sign of a great friend. Annie was one of the greatest people I have known. To Kevin, Emily and family - I am ever so sorry for your loss. Sending you much love.
