I'm so, so sorry to hear about Fay's passing. It was an absolute privilege to get to know her at The Berkeley. Her smile just lit up any room and her kindness and sincerity were felt by everyone who got to know her.

Dear Dwayne, Nat, Cath, and families, We feel your grief at this very difficult time, and want you all to know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Fay both from her visits to Gram and Pop's as well as later when I stayed with her and Uncle Ken for a week here and there, while taking courses at SMU, and then from visits at the Berkley and then Northwood. Aunt Fay always made sure I had a full lunch packed when I went to my class, and like a true Turner, it was always enough for two people......but also like a true Turner, I ate it all. We will see you tomorrow at the service, but I just wanted to send this picture along hoping it will generate a smile.

Dwayne, Natalie, and Cathy My sympathy goes out to you on the death of your mother. Your mother was an incredible person, and was very close to my family. Both my parents loved Fay. She was like a daughter to them for many years. She stayed with Mom and Dad when she was a young. As she grew older, she lived with them a lot, and helped my mother with Arlyn and Erwin. Fay and my mother both had infants die and shared that loss and grief. When Dad was in a nursing home in Fairview, Fay travelled by bus from Spryfield every week to visit Dad. Your mother was very helpful to me when I was compiling the Turner genealogy book. After I retired Fay and I talked on the phone for hours every week. Your mother was kind and loyal. She always remembered the kindness my parents showed her as a young girl. I know her last years were challenging for her and for you. Remember the good years and all the love she had for you and her grandchildren. Thinking of you at this sad time. Holly

Dear Dwayne, Nathalie, Cathy & Family, We are so sorry for the loss of your Mom. Our families have been close for a long time . Your Mom was a strong, loving & principled woman who was respected at home & in the community. Fay was my second Mom. I still cherish our afternoon visits when I travelled home from Quebec City. Another angel leaves this side for home . Fay has been a wonderful friend of mine for years . Her and Kenny and their family were like my own family growing up. I always had the most respect for them all. I would like to sincerely send my deepest condolences to Dwayne Cathy & Natalie & their family’s .Loosing a loved one is never easy.
