Obituary of Sharon Elizabeth LeBlanc

LEBLANC, Sharon Elizabeth- Age 79, of Halifax. September 27, 1945 – February 5, 2025

It is with sadness we announce that Sharon Elizabeth (Longley) LeBlanc passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Melville Gardens Nursing Home. Born in Kentville, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Dorothy (Laurilliard) Longley and the youngest of 6 children. She graduated from Kings County Academy and the Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a nurse in Bridgwater and Halifax. 

She is survived by her son, Jeff, daughter-in-law, Janis and granddaughter, Lauren, all of Halifax. She was predeceased by her sisters, Myrna and Rosamund and brothers, Paul, Malcolm “Mac”, and Donald “Buck”. 

There will be no visitation or funeral service, as Sharon requested, and a private family burial will take place at Fairview Lawn Cemetery. Donations may be made to the QEII Health Sciences Centre Foundation in Sharon's memory.
