Obituary of Lisa Christine Belliveau

Lisa Belliveau passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

She was predeceased by her father and mother, Tom and Hazel Belliveau, and younger brother Stephen. She is survived by her younger sister, Lynn Neave (Harvey) and various nieces and nephews in Halifax. She is also survived by her spouse of 22 years, Peter Jackson of Halifax, and stepdaughters, Alison Jackson and Sarah Downie (Nick) of Okotoks, Alberta.

Lisa was passionate about horses her entire life; owning riding, and driving them for as long as she was able. She loved all aspects of horse care and enjoyed passing on as much of the knowledge as she could about them to various local kids that found their way to her barn over the years. Some of her best moments were shared with her barn kids. Special thanks to Morgan and Ryan for all the help they gave us over the years. Thank you to all the Medical personnel who helped to make Lisa’s passing as easy as possible, especially Vicki Guy, her nurse practitioner in MAID.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nova Scotia SPCA would be appreciated. There will not be any memorial service at request of the family.
