Obituary of Sharon Ann Field
FIELD, Sharon Ann- Age 69 of Halifax, it is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Sharon Ann Field who passed away on February 20th, 2025, at the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Velma (Landry) Hubley.
Sharon had a personality like no other, she was caring, kind, and compassionate but she could also be a little feisty. Sharon was loved by all who met her and was a motherly figure to so many people. Sharon loved to be around children, in her previous years she worked in education as a school secretary, babysat, and was involved in Girl Guides. Sharon had many hobbies which included baking, making cards, and spending time at the cottage. Sharon was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s United Church. The one thing Sharon loved more than anything was being a grandmother to her 3 beautiful granddaughters.
Sharon is survived by her 2 daughters, Kimberley (Timothy), and Jacqueline (Brandon); granddaughters, Mya, Payton, and Talia; siblings, Douglas (Wilma), Everett (Trudy), Charlotte (Darren), and Kenneth (Dawn). Sharon is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, and uncles.
