Obituary of Kevin Wade Jesso

Bernice Jesso and family of Spryfield, Halifax, NS. announce with heavy hearts the passing of our beloved son, brother and friend, Kevin Wade Jesso, on March 18, 2025 unexpectedly at his home.  Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Douglas Jesso and Bernice (Short).

Kevin will be remembered as being a familiar face at the Spryfield Petro-Can, where he served and loved his community.  He was a problem solver who treasured people, especially his family, friends, and co-workers.  Kevin was a fun-loving and easy-going guy, who would talk and make friends with anyone.  He had a heart of gold, and will be remembered for dearly loving his mother, Bernice.  He was a family man who spent countless hours with his twin brothers, Dale and Craig, whom with he often enjoyed a round of golf.  He loved to golf and play his “Salsa” bingo cards. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Bernice, and loving brothers, Dale and Craig Jesso.  He was predeceased by his father, Douglas “Doug” in 2023.

A Memorial Service will be held at Stella Maris Parish (formerly St. Michael’s Church), Herring Cove Road on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 11 AM, followed by a gathering in the church hall for friends and family to share memories of Kevin.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Kevin to a charity that would benefit someone in need.
