Obituary of Charlotte Florence Isnor
79, Hackett’s Cove, NS. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear wife and mom, Charlotte Florence Isnor, on March, 19, 2025 at the New Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, NS. Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Elsie (Penny) Jones.
Charlotte loved her family dearly and she had dedicated her life to her husband and daughters. She will be remembered for being a kind, generous and gentle soul. Charlotte was a proud breast cancer survivor.
Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband, Roger, with whom she would have celebrated her 58th Wedding Anniversary on April 5th of this year. She is also survived by her two treasured daughters, Vanessa Anne Barnes (Fred), and Robin Lee Isnor, and a sister, Bertha, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, a baby girl, Marjorie Lynn (in infancy), her brothers, Byron Jones and Alan Jones, and a sister, Alice Bodhaine.
As requested by Charlotte, cremation has taken place and a graveside committal service will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Hackett’s Cove, NS on April 9, 2025 at 3 PM. In keeping with Charlotte’s wishes, please make a donation in memory of her to a charity that will help an animal in need.
