Obituary of Paul Douglas Brigley
66, passed away on April 21, 2025, in Queensland, NS. He was born on April 25, 1958 in Halifax, NS. Paul lived a life marked by adventure, generosity and a steadfast spirit.
Paul’s journey was one of resilience and determination. On September 11, 2012, he proudly earned his GED- a milestone that reflected his commitment to personal growth and lifelong learning. His adventurous nature led him to explore far and wide; he loved to travel and discover new places. Whether it was the thrill of the open road or the serenity of a hidden waterfall, Paul found joy in exploration.
A true car enthusiast, Paul spent countless hours working on vehicles and attending care shows. His passion for automobiles was more than a hobby- it was a way to connect with others who shared his interests and express his creativity through craftsmanship.
Those who knew Paul remember him as outgoing and kind-hearted. He held firm to his beliefs and lived with unwavering conviction. His generosity touched many lives, his presence brought warmth wherever he went.
Paul is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Paulette and Jennifer; his sisters, Heather, Edith, Judy and Mary; his brothers, David, Eric, and Frank; as well as an endless extended family who will continue to cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his birth parents, Frances and Jean Duffy; adoptive parents, Joseph and Margaret Brigley; sister, Faye; and brothers, Dale, Junior, Billy and Ron.
Cremation has taken place and a visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 1-4 PM. A funeral service will follow, beginning at 4 PM.
