Mary and I were friends and neighbours in the building we lived in on Lacewood, and I'm so sorry to just be learning of her passing now. She truly was a sweet, lovely, cheering soul, an energetic, kind, caring lady with a great sense of humour, and a sense of duty to others to always do the right thing. We enjoyed many engaging, interesting conversations and good laughs together. Also, she was even able to sort out that she and I were probably related to each other - her, on her mother's side, and me, on my father's side (Christmas Island, CB, NS). She had a much younger vibe, keeping herself remarkably well, walking jauntily almost every day so that if you were behind her, she looked like a fit, much younger women, and even though I was shocked to eventually discover her true age, which was top secret, it gave me even more reason to admire her. It was always very special for me to be able to spend the short amounts of time we had together. I really appreciated having her as a good neighbour and a friend. Please accept my sincere condolences to Mary's entire family, extended family, and friends. May Mary rest in eternal peace.
