I'm so thankful to have been able to attend Freya's touching celebration of life. I miss her every single day but I'm glad to have had the chance to explore a place that brought her joy and meet so many of the people she knew and hear how she touched their lives just like she touched mine. It made me want to share this photo of her which I believe was taken when we went to The Forks here together, because of the happy memories I have there with her. The memories I made with her are ones I'll cherish forever.

Our heartfelt condolences to Eileen and all Morgan's family and friends. Running into Morgan around Halifax always meant an interesting conversation - from plants to colour therapy to her beautiful and unique personal style! I never got to know her very well, but her genuine way of communicating stood out and has stayed with me. For those who were close to her, I am so sorry for your loss.

You brought a light into the world that is not extinguished by you leaving so soon. I thought we would have more time, things don't always work out that way, but I know you are free and with the Angels now. You were such an incredible person and you taught me so much about being myself and loving myself in the time I knew you.
You were so talented, and creative and kind. Thank you for inspiring me. You were so unbelievably strong. I wish that you could come back to us. I know we will see each other again in the end or maybe in another life. Goodbye Freya, thank you for being my friend. I'll miss you.

Our heartfelt condolences to Eileen, James and Chris at this unfathomable time. Morgan was a bright light to all those blessed to have known her. I remember on one of our visits at age 3, she pushed my daughter in her walker over to me and said “I brought your baby for you” in her angelic tone. Morgan will always be the first friend I ever made and the one who was there for me through times good and bad, even throughout the time I lived so many miles away. The immense love she showed friends, family and nature is something I hope I can show as well. I'll never forget you, Freya. I couldn't even if I somehow wanted to.

I saw Freya every Sunday at the Funky Flea Market. She was always excited to share with me her cookies of the week , samples for everyone. She had a bright spirt and no matter what she was smiling. Her pleasant person will be missed by many at the Market. Our hearts are breaking with Chris, Eileen and James as we morn the passing of Morgan with you. The loss of such a bright light will leave the world a bit dimmer. I fondly recall being among the first to have had the privilege of holding baby Morgan - maybe even her first babysitter. What a precious gift she was who put a smile on everyone’s face who saw her. My deepest condolences for the loss of beautiful Freya. Although I didn't cross paths with her recently, I had the pleasure of knowing her and working with her on environmental committees in high school. I'm attaching a screen shot from a video we made for an event, and I hope it makes someone else smile as much as it made me. Even all these years later, I distinctly remember how much I enjoyed spending time with her. She was such a lovely person inside and out; always dedicated, passionate, and so kind. One of the most kindest souls, the most adventurous, most open-hearted person you could've ever met. Freya is/was talented, smart, always enjoying the little things in life. Her creativity in her baking, ideas, and experiences made life so much brighter. I started doing the flea market with her last year here and there, but did it every single weekend since October with her. Spending every Sunday with her was what gave me my social light back. Being able to connect with somebody that understood me, somebody who genuinely listened to understand and not just nod, she always made the day better. She will always be all of these things, and she will always be a part of who I am and who I became. Even on the bad days, she would always have the brightest smile and try to make the day better.
Reading this, I realized that she took me to Sandy Cove, I didn't realize that she took me to one of her favourite spots the last time I got to see her. We had so many plans, so many more adventures that we had to go on. I hope that you know that Emily and I will always hold you close, and we will search for you in the stars, and the raccoons that we see, in every instance of nature that steps in front of us, because that is how strong of a bond we made with you. You taught us so much, and you loved us no matter what, and I hope you knew how much we loved you.
