Obituary of Keith Levy Corney

CORNEY, Keith Levy – Age 81, of Upper Tantallon 

With heavy hearts, the family of Keith Corney announces his passing on July 30, 2025, at Melville Lodge Nursing Home. Born on December 11, 1943, Keith was the son of the late Cain and Violet (Levy) Corney.

Keith spent his early life in West Dover before settling in Tantallon in 1971, following his marriage to the love of his life, Trinda. A man of many talents and unwavering work ethic, Keith built a life rooted in hard work. He spent time as a fisherman and worked in various construction roles throughout his life. One of his proudest accomplishments was earning his operator’s license and working as a tower crane operator—a job he cherished deeply.

Though proud of his work, Keith found his truest peace in nature. A woodsman at heart, he treasured time spent in the forest, whether with family, friends, or alone with a loyal dog. He found joy and freedom in snowmobiling, riding his ATV, and spending time in the woods. In later years, he discovered a deep love for tapping trees and making maple syrup.

Keith was predeceased by his parents and an infant brother. He leaves behind his loving wife, Trinda, and his cherished son, Dana.
