William Chelsea Miller

July 17, 1933 – September 9, 2025

It is with sadness that the family of William Chelsea Miller announces his passing. Born in Fox Point on July 17, 1933, he was the son of the late Chelsea L. Miller and Anna G. (Westhaver) Miller.

William is survived by his loving wife, Lydia M. (Coolen) Miller, and daughter, Deborah (Ted) Voege. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Jason Miller (Yarmouth), Christopher Brewer (Ontario), and Robert (North West Cove), as well as five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Betty Brophy (Halifax) and Patsy Boutilier (Aspotogan).

William was predeceased by his son, Charles William, brother, Sinclair, sister, Beatrice, and brother-in-laws, David Gange and Willis Boutilier.

Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A private graveside burial will be held at a later date.
