Obituary of Louise Charlotte Martell

MARTELL, Louise Charlotte -age 60, of Halifax.

It is with deep sadness that the family of Louise Charlotte Martell announces her passing on September 14, 2025.

Louise will be remembered for her generous spirit and her willingness to lend a hand whenever needed. Though private by nature, she possessed a great strength and a deep love for animals, especially cats. She often described herself as “happily divorced,” a reflection of her independence and sense of humor.

She is survived by her brother, Rick Martell, and his husband, Darryl; and her stepmother, Patricia Stewart (April). Louise was predeceased by her great-grandmother, Katherine Brady; her grandmother, Mary Patterson; her parents, Shelia and Richard Martell; her grandparents, Grand-mère and Grand-père Martell; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
