Obituary of Neil Christopher Donald

Neil Donald was a very unique person. He was stubborn and opinionated, but was very kind and generous to his friends. He played bass guitar in a band and was a DJ. Neil really loved music. For a number of years, he was a journalist and loved telling stories and telling his friends how to word important papers. He also had been a lifeguard at some point. Neil lived life to the fullest, but was also a private man.  After a battle of heart surgery, stroke, and paralysis, Neil got pneumonia and passed away peacefully at the Halifax ICU on October 12, 2025 at 4:38 PM. Neil will be missed by his closest friends, Todd, Jennifer, Shawn, Tracy, as well as longtime friend and mother to his son, Colin, Kim Doubleday, and by anyone he had the chance to meet.
