Obituary of Ambrose Stephen Kellogg

KELLOGG, Ambrose Stephen - Age 51 of Halifax. 

It is with great sadness that the family of Ambrose Kellogg announces his sudden passing on October 15, 2025. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, his love of animals, and his generosity. He would help anyone with anything he could.

Ambrose is survived by his partner of twenty-one years, Melodie Francis; his stepchildren, Melodie Boudreau (Dan) of Alberta and Tristen Ingram, whom he affectionately referred to as “Skipper”; his sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Keith Hayley; sister-in-law, Cheryl Kellogg; neice, Hayley Kellogg; nephew, Chase Kellogg; and great-nephews  Kaden Bishop and River Kellogg. Ambrose also leaves behind his best friend, Matthew Lethbridge, whom he considered a brother; his godchild, Everleigh; and his friend Craig Pye, with whom he had been friends for many years.

Ambrose was predeceased by his mother, Mary Kellogg (Christie); father, Joseph Kellogg; and brother, Edward Kellogg.

A Funeral Service for Ambrose will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Church on 328 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3R 1V4. All are welcome to attend.
