Deborah Elizabeth Taylor

June 1, 1957 – October 26, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debbie Taylor on Sunday, October 26, 2025, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.


Debbie is survived by her siblings Michael, Julie, Vicky, and Johnny; her chosen family Michelle Verney; her bonus daughters Jade and Jayla; and her cherished grandchildren Makhi and Ionie, for whom she would have moved mountains. She was predeceased by both her parents. 


She was employed with Lake City Woodwork and Maritime Canvas, where she developed many lasting friendships and was well respected by colleagues. Debbie will be remembered for the light she brought to the world around her. She will be remembered as someone who encouraged those around her to be the best versions of themselves. 


In keeping with Debbie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. In her memory, please do something kind for those less fortunate.
