Obituary of Joseph Daniel Eric Cormier

It is with great sadness that the family of Eric Cormier announces his passing on November 4, 2025, at the age of 81. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Eric was the son of the late Eric and Fernande (Melanson) Cormier. Following a successful career in real estate services with both the federal government and private industry, Eric retired to his seaside paradise with his beloved wife, Ann-Marie, where he excelled in his new role as "Grampy Eric", putting on Easter egg hunts like no other. An avid woodworker and collector, Eric was always there with a word of advice and just the right tool or materials.

Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, in Halifax. In keeping with Eric's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Eric's family invites you to privately celebrate his memory in your own way.
