My condolences to Susan’s family during a very difficult time.
Susan and I grew up together with a lot of childhood memories. We were always together hanging out at her moms or grandmothers back yard on the swing.
We graduated from Sydney academy and had gone different paths. We had met up a few times but it slowly disappeared. I will miss you cus. Rest in peace ♥️

I met Sue a few years ago when I worked the Summer Literacy Camp through HRCE. I worked 3 literacy camps with her and she was an amazing lady. I am so sad to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family and friends. It breaks my heart that I will never get to work another camp with her. She was an amazing human being and teacher and she will be dearly missed.

I met Sue two years ago when I started working at Park West. She was an amazing person who made me feel so welcome. Not only did she have a special bond with the students she worked with, but she was kind to everyone and all students knew and loved her. She will be so missed. I will cherish my gifted starfish pendant and remember her always. Sending my thoughts and prayers to all of her family and friends.

I met Sue when our children became friends in junior high. About the same time she taught my daughter in grade 2. She was a great teacher. She was creative, fun and she knew her students so well. My daughter learned so much. We often met in the school hall and talked about our children in junior high and life. Sue had wise advice that I appreciated. She always had a terrific sense of humour about things too that made her fun to talk to. She was a wonderful person. Our condolences to, and prayers for her family.

I will always cherish the past 10 years I spent working alongside Sue. She possessed such a wonderfully calm presence, and her kind gestures and smile always brightened my day.
The most meaningful gift I received from her was a starfish pendant, which reminds me of the "Starfish Story." Every time I see or touch it on my lanyard, I am reminded of the significant difference she made in my life.
I am so grateful to have known you, Sue, and you will be deeply missed ❤️

Although we graduated Sydney Academy together, it was not until Sue taught my son, Robert, Grade Two at Park West School did we reconnect. She was an amazing teacher who had a special bond with her students! Robert really enjoyed Ms. Haiking's class. In retirement, I began to sub at Park West where we reconnected yet again! We shared conversations about our love of travel, in particular crusing! I was honored to have subbed for Sue over the years and will miss her smiling face and friendly conversations. Condolences are extended to her family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time. Paulette Kehoe-Kraitzek and Family.
