Obituary of Lina Ruth Morash

76, Halifax, passed away on December 11, 2025 at the QEII, New Halifax Infirmary with her loving brother, Carter and companion, Tim, at her side.  Born in Halifax, Lina was a daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy Morash.  

Family meant everything to Lina.  She was always very close to her siblings, with whom she enjoyed a good game of cards and a laugh.  She loved her family and they loved her.  

Lina is survived by her siblings, Carter (Anita), Lawrence (Freda), Bonnie, Connie, Patsy, Bernice and Beatrice. She will be sadly missed by her companion, Tim.  She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Tish, a grandson, Michael and a great-granddaughter, Alexis, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil and her only son, Darren, and by her parents and many beloved brothers and sisters.

Cremation has taken place and a service in memory of Lina will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 2PM.  In memory of Lina, please make donations to a charity that would benefit a child in need.
