Obituary of Donna Irene Morash

Age 72, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, in Truro, surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Dover, she was the cherished daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy Morash.

Donna was a true family woman — her family meant everything to her. Her son, Wayne Morash, was her first love and greatest pride. She treasured every moment spent with her loved ones.

Donna enjoyed her Sunday bingos — and occasionally Tuesdays too. If you ever met Donna, you were always greeted with a warm smile. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She was as sweet as the treats she loved — her Juicy Fruit gum and her Diet Pepsi were never far from her side.

She is survived by her beloved siblings: her brothers, Darrel and Lawrence; her sisters, Beatrice, Connie, Bernice, Patsy, and Bonnie; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.  Donna was predeceased by her parents, and by her siblings, Shelia, Gerald, Hudson, Dale, Joy, Millie, Ruby, and Lina.

A service in memory of Donna will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 11AM from the funeral home chapel.  All are welcome.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her niece, Lisa Blackburn, for always visiting Donna and showing her unconditional love. Special thanks as well to Sheila Morash and Tina Williams, and the family members who came together to support Donna during her final moments on earth.

A very special thank you to her nephew, Nathan Blackburn, for the loving care he provided, especially during the final stages of her journey.

The family would also like to express sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff at Cedarstone Enhanced Care (Eden Hall) for their kindness and care.

This isn’t a goodbye — it’s “goodbye, bingo.”
