Obituary of Randall Wade Hayden

September 12, 1936 – May 3, 2026

Randall Wade Hayden, 89, passed away on May 3, 2026. Born on September 12, 1936, Randall lived a life defined by his character, his service, and his profound love for his family.

At the age of 18, Randall joined the Canadian Army, a testament to his dedication and sense of duty. Following his service, he returned home to build a beautiful life, marrying his wife, Glenda, on November 17, 1962. Together, they shared a long and devoted marriage.  Randall was a man of the outdoors who found great joy in the quiet of nature. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved nothing more than sharing those passions with his family, especially during trips to go swimming at Long Lake Park. He was a deeply loving man who took immense pride in his children and their families.

Randall is survived by his sons, Harvey (Susan) and Michael (Phyllis); his brother, Eric; and his cherished grandchildren, Adam, Evan, Erika (Tyler), Nicole, and Matthew, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Glenda; his daughter, Wanda; his grandson, Hayden; his sister, Isobel; and his brothers, David, Stan, and Jim.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 11 a.m. at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home Chapel.  Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Randall’s life and legacy.
