Obituary of June Bernice Strople
With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, June Bernice (Robinson) Strople, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter to the late William and Florence Robinson.
June was a lifetime member of Emmanuel Anglicn Church, Spryfield, NS, where she was in the ladies auxiliary. She was a proud member of the ODD Fellows Lodge and the Spryfield Lionesses. When June first started working, she worked at Moir’s Chocolates, and later took care of many community children while their parents were at work. More recently, she dedicated her time to Seniors for Seniors. June loved to sing and dance to Charlie Pride’s music. June was a social lady, she loved to laugh, and to make others laugh, have her chats on the phone, dance and play cards with her friends, but above all, her children and their families was her world. She loved each and every one in their own special way. Each of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren have unique, and personal memories of and with Nan that will remain a part of them forever.
June is survived by her loving children, Pam Penny (Wayne), Darlene Divirgilio (Nick), and Paul (Joanne Fitzgerald). Nan will forever be remembered with love by her grandchildren, Richard Penny, Andrea Glazebrook (Jared), Ryan Randall (Courtney), Brittany Randall (Corey Arthur), and Bobbi Strople (Zem), her treasured great-grandchildren, Keegan, Ava, Jorja, Lucie, Landon, Ella, Porter and Caleb. She is also survived by numerous, too many to mention, cousins, nieces, nephews, former neighbours, and a very long list of friends.
June was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was predeceased by her parents, her loving and devoted husband, Donald “Donnie” E. Strople in 2013, as well as all of her eleven siblings, and many other family members.
In keeping with June’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of June to the Emmanuel Church Cemetery Fund.
