Obituary of Godfrey Allen Foster

FOSTER, Godfrey Allen – Age 95 of St. Margarets Bay Road, Hubley, Nova Scotia. It is with great sadness we announce his passing on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, at Parkstone Enhanced Care. Godfrey is survived by his sons, Stephen Allen Foster (Jackie) and Christopher R. Foster (Gary); grandchildren, Stephanie Charlene Foster and James Allen Parker; siblings, Marie Chaisson (Joseph), Shirley Gillie (Roy), June Audrey Pace (Robert T.), Gloria Helena Malloy (George), Courtney Hibbert Foster (Annette), Florence Deveau (Eugene), and Marilyn Johnson (George); along with several nieces and nephews. Godfrey was predeceased by his loving wife, Jean Mary Foster.

Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., Halifax. In keeping with Godfrey’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A burial will take place at Plesant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville at a later date.
