Obituary of Dean Lucas Rousseau Martin

ROUSSEAU MARTIN, Dean Lucas- It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful baby boy, Dean Lucas Rousseau Martin surrounded by love and family on June 5th, 2026.  Born in Halifax on May 16, 2026, our beautiful baby boy made a remarkable impact on everyone who got the pleasure to meet him.  In his 20 days on earth he was nothing but smiles and his personality was something you would never forget. From day one he was known as “little pickle”. Dean was so brave and incredibly loved by all his family.  Dean was a true fighter, a heart warrior and a true blessing.  Dean was loved and cherished by parents, Joey Martin and Khloe Rousseau.  He was loved deeply by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family.

In keeping with the families wishes the Celebration of Deans Life on Friday June 12th, 2026, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, with a reception to follow.

The family would like to thank the IWK for their exceptional care of Dean. The family cannot put in words the gratitude they have for all the Doctors and nurses who went above and beyond to make Dean comfortable.  A special thank you to the staff on IWK floor 3.
