Mona, I was so sad to hear of Wayne's passing. I always looked forward to his pop-ins in the office whenever you had an appointment. He was always smiling and so entertaining. So sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear this Mona ,
You were a branch of the family I never got to know well for some reason but i know wayne was well known in these parts for doing the books for all the fisherman around .
I used to see him occaisionally when i was younger and “ the two Wayne's used to make their way down to dover .. the homestead , for a yak with uncle Doug ( my father ) . As a child I was amazed at the size of these two men together as they appeared a formidable pair ! Lol
I drove up to see wayne denson in New York state while he was ailing and he shared some stories of the good times in their youth . I still have the recordings as its nice to hear about the family i never knew ..
As we grew up we seemed to lose track of that branch of the family snd thats a little sad now as i look back ..
TAke care Mona . He's likely doin the books for the new friends he's made in heaven ! Best regards lynn myra

So many memories, it seems that we all enjoyed the Christmas nights at Mona and Nicks. It was a special way to keep our families close and we all appreciate it. As I stand on the driving range I remember my first time ever on a golf course when Nick…and Mona brought me with them while they were golfing in PEI. One could say that was a turning point in my life. Thanks for letting a 13 year old kid tag along at Brudenell Uncle Nick. ❤️

Uncle Nick, you will be missed! Our annual trip to PEI, all piling into your SUV for Boomburgers; horse racing and gambling at Red Shores in Charlottetown. Topping the evening off with fireball shots! David and I will do a shot on the 15th in your memory! Bev and I will continue to try to win on the Buffalo game. So many wonderful childhood and young adult memories of Christmas nights gathered together in East Pennant to celebrate with family! We miss and love you, Lori (Lorele) and David XO

Christmas at Aunt Mona’s and Uncle Nick’s has always been a favourite memory of my childhood. Uncle Nick playing the music until Mahalia came on and everyone finally went to bed. Our Christmas lunches at Swiss Chalet, trips to PEI and casino fun! You lived life to the fullest Uncle Nick and never slowed down. We will be sure to take Aunt Mona out to see the deer and drop a few dollars in the slots for you.We will think of you when we look out at Pennant Bay. Kevin, Michelle,Alyssa,Brett &Laurel

I have so many wonderful memories of Christmas celebrations spent at Nick and Mona’s. It never seemed to matter how bad the roads were we all seemed to manage to make it to East Pennant. We were welcomed with amazing food ( I loved the lobsters) plenty of Christmas Cheer and smiling faces.I’m sure I never told Nick enough how much my kids and I loved this special part of our Christmas….. We did Nick and Thank You.
Rest in Peace Nick and we will look after Mona for you.
