Obituary of Delcia Robichaud

It is with great sadness that the family of Delcia Robichaud announces her passing on June 29, 2026, at Melville Gardens.

Born on June 16, 1934, in Neguac, NB, Delcia was the daughter of the late Antoine and Josephine Robichaud. A bold and resilient woman, she attended the Halifax School for the Blind before pursuing a career as a healthcare provider. Delcia was known for her love of music, frequently playing the piano and organ, and her fondness for colorful outfits and jewelry. She will be remembered most for her nurturing spirit and her deep love for her family.

Delcia is survived by her son, Daniel; daughters, Patricia Joyce and Lynn Joyce; grandchildren, Gregory and Chris; and great-grandchildren Hunter and Zalli; sisters, Lydia, Linda, Lauza, and Geraldine; and her brother, Ola. She was predeceased by her brothers, Emile, Eustache, Domicien, Elvery, Roger; and Leo; and sister, Bernadette.

Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home. In keeping with Delcia's wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Delcia's memory to a charity of your choice.
