Obituary of Marie Marjorie Llewellyn

LLEWELLYN (Bishop), Marie Marjorie- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Marjorie (Bishop) Llewellyn, who passed away peacefully at Melville Gardens at the age of 100.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Marie lived a long and remarkable life filled with love, kindness and compassion.  She was a devoted animal lover and found great joy in the companionship of her many dogs and cared for throughout her lifetime.

Marie is lovingly remembered by her sons, Glenn (Christine) and Joseph; cherished grandchildren, Breanne, Marcus, Jennifer, and Amanda; great-granddaughter, Maddie; beloved niece, Linda Shea; and many extended family members and friends whose life she touched over the many years.  She was predeceased by her beloved son, Patrick; brother, Billy, Ray, Kenny and Harold.

Her warmth and gentle spirit will deeply be missed.  Marie leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, Halifax.  In keeping with Maries wishes, there will be no visitation.  A private family service will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out in Maries memory to the Nova Scotia SPCA.
