Obituary of Natasha Ruth Madonna Jennings-Retieffe

With profound sadness, we share that Natasha Ruth Madonna Jennings-Retieffe, age 21, passed away in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, on July 24, 2026.  Natasha is survived by her parents, Joseph Retieffe and Sally-Jayne Katrina Jennings; her sister, Cheyenne Retieffe; her grandmother, Sandra Ruth Jennings; her cousin, Alexandra Ann Jennings, and her uncle, Kent William David Jennings.

Natasha was a kind and loving person who cared deeply for her family and friends. Family was very important to Natasha, and she would do anything for those she loved. Natasha was very close with her cousin Alexandra, having spent much time together when Alexandra visited Nova Scotia, and having being engaged in long and frequent phone conversations when distance separated them.  She shared an especially close and loving bond with her grandmother, Sandra, a relationship that meant a great deal to them both.

Natasha had a great love for animals and found much happiness in their companionship. She especially loved her cats, Ben and Molly, as well as her uncle’s dog, Loki, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

At only 21 years of age, Natasha leaves behind family and friends who loved her immensely. She will be remembered for her kindness, her loving nature, her devotion to her family, and the love she gave so freely to those who were important to her.

Though her time with us was far too short, the love Natasha shared and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Natasha will always be loved, greatly missed, and forever remembered.
