Obituary of Alden Enos Munroe

Munroe, Alden Enos: 65, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23 2013, at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. He was the son of the late Enos and Rita Munroe.   Auddie was a true lover of the ocean and could often be found working on a new wooden boat project.  He always had an open heart and ready ear for anyone who needed it and was a man of great pride and dignity. He will live in our hearts and spirits alwaysHe was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary Louise Munroe, and was a cherished father to his daughters, Cathy (Gordon), Christine (Mathew), Jane and Lisa, and is survived by his brother, Kevin Munroe.  He was a cherished grandfather to Megan, Melissa, Steven, Devon and Chloe, as well as a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Lee and Ricky.Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS, where a service in memory of Alden will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Burial to be held at a later date in Port Felix Parish Cemetery.
