Obituary of Sarah May "Sally" Hudson

Sarah (Sally) May Hudson- October 13, 1919-November 27, 2013, It is with heavy hearts we say good bye to our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Sarah  was born in Belleoram, NFLD and moved to Halifax when she was 15 years old making it her home. From 1961-1972 Sarah worked at Simpson’s in the girls and teens department retiring when her first grandchild was born. She was also a volunteer at the Public Library Children’s Reading Program. She was an amazing seamstress and sewed for the entire family. She had a passion for cooking and baking, always sharing with us the food that we loved. There was nothing that made Sarah happier than being in the center of a family gathering. Her Children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life and our lives will not be the same without her. Sarah was predeceased by her husband Frederick (Ted) Percy Hudson on June 16, 1979. She was survived by her son Hal Hudson (Bev); grand-sons Michael and Tom Hudson; daughter Patricia (Roy); grand-daughters Jennifer Turcot (Christian), Katherine Clarke (Steven) and Sarah Gillis (Steve Bigg); great grand-daughters Alexandra and Victoria Turcot and nephew Paul Vincent (Maggie) who loved his "Aunt Sally".
