Obituary of Myrtle Irene Morash

Morash, Myrtle Irene - 86, West Dover, NS, loving wife of the late Gordon Morash, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 27, 2014.  Born in West Dover, she was a daughter of the late Lindsay and Catherine (Cleveland) Zinck.  Myrtle enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She will be remembered for the love she gave to her family.   Myrtle was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Doris), Carmen (Janet), Harold (Frances), Billy (Cheryl), Clayton, David, Paul (Tina), Jackie (Karen), Danny (Tammy), and Darren, and daughters, Freda (Lawrence), Girty, Doreen and Yvonne, as well as her many grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Myrtle was predeceased by the love of her life, Gordon, sons, Walter and Raymond, grandson, Roy, a granddaughter, Trinda, as well as her many brothers and sisters.  The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Harris Crooks and his staff for all the care given to Myrtle.  A special thanks to the VON and the Palliative Care team for their support, and to Jack and Rita Murphy for their kindness shown during this difficult time.   Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, (477.5601), where a private memorial service for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11 am from the funeral home chapel, with Rev.
