Obituary of Glen Arthur Chamberlain

50, Halifax, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Adele (Bernard) and the late Allan Chamberlain. Glen was a dedicated volunteer with numerous organizations, giving freely of his time. He was a member of the Earl Francis Spryfield Memorial Legion, Branch #152. Glen was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Boston Bruins, throwing darts and shooting pool. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his twin sister, Linda (Glen) Hunt and brother, Howard (Janice) Chamberlain and their son, Allan; numerous uncles. He was predeceased by brother, Daniel. Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 2. from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 3 at 10 AM from St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Donations in Glen’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
