Obituary of Earl G. Publicover

66, West Dover, passed away on August 12, 2014 at the VG Site, QEII, Halifax, surrounded by those he loved.  Born in Halifax, he was the only son of Maureen Publicover and the late Weldon Publicover.  Throughout his life, Earl was a fisherman, but dedicated most of his career to construction, retiring from Dover Masonry.  Earl is survived by his mother, Maureen, his loving companion, Darlene "Susie" Morash, his children, Charlene (Joel), Leslie, Darren, Glen and Jamie, as well as 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, numerous cousins and many friends, especially Lawrence Morash, Glenn Zinck, and Keith Cornery.  He was predeceased by his father, Weldon. Arrangements are under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), where cremation has taken place.  A service in memory of Earl will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11 AM from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Russell Saulnier as officiating clergy.  Interment will take place at West Dover Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the charity of one’s choice.
