Obituary of Brian Douglas Farrell

66 of Halifax passed away on October 25, 2017 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax he was a son of the late Francis and Alice (Kirby) Farrell. Brian grew up in Spryfield and was a long-time member of the community. He was also a member of City Church, and the City Church food bank. He was a friend to many and a loving husband. He is survived by his wife Irma (McGrath) Farrell, Spryfield; son Kirk Farrell, Halifax; sisters, Sandra (Stan) Lacey, Lakeside, and Doreen (Bob) Mitchell, Lakeside; brother, Harvey (Donna) Farrell, Halifax and Many nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by, his sister Glenda Hayden. A special thank you to Donna and Harvey for all their support. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday October 31, at 11 a.m. from City Church 276 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3P 1M1, with a reception to follow.
