Obituary of Frances Sandra Griffiths
Age 77, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on January 13th 2020, at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Fran was born in Halifax to the late Frank and Jessie (Burden) Warrington on December 30, 1942.
Fran was an active member in the Spryfield Legion and the Forever Young Senior's Club and loved playing darts and BINGO. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Warrington, Jeddore; sister, Gail Cullen, Riverview, NB.; children, James Warrington (Amy-Joe), Tommy Griffiths, Frances Kirby (Bob), Debbie Flemming (Stephen), and Valerie Griffiths; grandchildren, Stephenie Douglass (Steven), Austin Griffiths, Corey Griffiths (Roy Donovan), Laura Griffiths (Adam Smith), Jennifer Griffiths, Anthony Griffiths (Alessandro Spagnoli), Jenna Flemming, Justin Flemming, Connor McGaffin, Riley McGaffin and Anaya McGaffin; great-grandchildren, Colton Griffiths, Bryce Gosbee, and Chase Gosbee; nieces and nephews, Hedley Cullen, Juanita Cullen, Danny Warrington and Jessie Warrington. She is predeceased in death by her husband, Thomas and brother, Hedley Warrington.
Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Golden Age Social Centre Society, 212 Herring Cove Rd. on Wednesday, January 22nd , 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Huntington Society of Canada.
