Obituary of Max Leroy Keeping

Age 83, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on January 24th 2020, at the V.G. Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Frederick and Gertrude (Daniels) Keeping.

After a 26 year career in the RCMP, he continued to work in a variety of careers finishing off with the Corps of Commissionaires at the age of 81. Max is survived by loving partner, Brenda Dorton; son, Christopher (Patricia); daughters, Janice Martell (Blair), Pamela Snow (Robert); sisters, Janet Lutz, Mary Marson; grandchildren, Cam Keeping, Patrick, Sarah and Vicky Snow, Kyle Martell; great grandchildren, Ayden Elgee and Parker Grant and by his 1st wife, Gillian (Martin).

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday January 29th at 12 pm. Reception to follow. Interment to take place in Fairview Lawn Cemetery Halifax.
