Obituary of Andrea Hutchinson Lowden

Age 72, of Williamswood, passed away peacefully on February 2nd , 2020, at the Halifax Infirmary QEII.   Born in Scotland, she was the daughter of the late James and Jean Grubb.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Ian; sons, Phillip (Lindsay), Steven (Tammy Kelly); grandson, Connor, and Jodi. Andrea was well known in the community for her involvement with Chebucto Minor Hockey and volunteering her time with St Agnes Jr High and J W MacLeod schools. She also spent countless hours in the rinks supporting both her sons and grandson Connors love of hockey, making many friends and memories along the way. She was predeceased by son, Brian in infancy and sister, Elizabeth “Betty”.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where visitation will be February 7th from 12-2 pm. Memorial service to follow in funeral home chapel at 2 pm. Interment to take place in Fairview Lawn Cemetery Halifax. A Celebration of life for Andrea will take place at the Lions Rink Drysdale Ave at 4pm.
