Obituary of Katherine Christine Hill

Age 61, Halifax, passed away peacefully July 6, 2020 at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII.  Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Marilyn (Callahan), the late Fenwick Zinck and step-daughter of the late Wilfred "Joe" Callahan.

She is survived by son, Christopher Marriott (Kasey); daughters, Leanne Zettler (John), Jacqueline Hill (Jason); grandchildren, Logan, Morgan, Payton, Evan, Kenlea, Sophie, Jordan; brothers, Mark Zinck (Trina Gray), Glen Zinck (Connie); sisters, Lynn Callahan (Pat Hopkinson), Jodie Callahan (Jody Rector), Nancy Zinck and her many nieces, nephews and extended family.  She will be especially missed by her dear companion, Paul, and her dog, Sadie.

Those who knew Kathy would say that she was a fun and amazing person, had a zest for life and adventure, and loved her children and grandchildren above all else.  She was an amazing baker, knitter, crafter and story-teller.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 11 at 1pm. Interment to take place at a later date.
