The Association of Atlantic Area Artists wishes to convey condolences to the family of Audrey Maw. Audrey was a member of our art association for a number of years, and was a member of the Monday Art Class until her health began to decline, two years ago. Her interest in art and in her fellow artists was inspiring. She will be remembered by those who knew her for her art and her welcoming smile. Our sincere sympathy to you, her family.

I met Audrey at an art class we were both attending, and then kept on meeting her at further art classes in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was a very nice person to talk to and interact with. My deepest condolences go out to her brother and cousins and the rest of the family.

As I think about Audrey, what comes immediately to mind are her gentle smile, great sense of humour and dedication to listing, talking, teaching, encouraging and praying with so many students over the years. It was my privilege to be part of InterVarsity's Atlantic team during Audrey's years of service and I am richer for having worked (and played) alongside her. I do wish I could be at her memorial service in person to celebrate her life which was so well lived. My deep condolences to her family and good friends.
